What is the one thing I’ve been super impressed with so far while visiting Vegas, all the vegan food choices! There are so many choices of all vegan restaurants that we almost have to make a list.
While visiting the Las Vegas Arts District, full of antique stores, vintage shops and chic restaurants we found Tacotarian. Another 100% plant based Mexican restaurant. It’s super cute spot with plants, comfy lounge chairs, sofas or swing chairs or your typical table setting gives off a total West Coast beach vibe. The menu varies from tacos to burritos, flautas to salads or appetizers like ceviche and Elote (Mexican Corn). And to sip it all down several choices of aqua fresca or fancy cocktails. A bonus is the margarita flight, yes you read right, A MARGARITA FLIGHT! Good bye beer and wine, hello margarita.
We ordered the three-taco combo with beans and rice. One Barbacoa, one Plantain Con Mole and one Dorado taco with an extra fish taco on the side. I wanted a Tacos de Jamaica (Vegan Hibiscus Tacos) but they were no longer on the menu.
All four tacos were very tasty but I think my favorite of this stop was the Dorado and the Plantain Con Mole. I wasn’t as impressed with the fish taco as I was hoping for, I love a good fish taco. Again, we were having a very hard time choosing between all the options. If we get a chance to go back, I’d try out some of the other foods like a soup or ceviche.
Tacotarian has a super cute hipster vibe that makes it inviting for all vegans or not.
