Garden of the Gods RV Resort

This last week we took off Friday afternoon, grabbed the trailer and headed south towards Colorado Springs. We stayed a couple nights at the Garden of the Gods RV Resort. The Resort was very clean and quiet, however a little on the pricey side for camping.  We did not get a great camp spot and in the future we would ask for a different spot, the spot that we got was right next to the men’s bathroom and laundry. All day and night people were coming in and out, stay away from this spot G02 if at all possible. There are no fire rings but they do have a community fire pit, not sure that they are currently getting used due to COVID. The RV dump hook ups for some of the sites are not very conveniently located but work. Over all a very nice place and would recommend.

A friend of Heather’s and her husband drove down to hang out and have dinner, drinks and allow us all to have a little social time while social distancing too. Pikes Peak is not very far off and we did drive up there but the line to get in was at least a 30 minute wait and we were not sure we would even get in. Something to explore at a later time, maybe even drive to the top of the peak. We had a great time and would definitely go back in the future to explore some more.
