Did someone say vegan donuts! I’m in, now where do we find these delicious sugary treats? Look no further than Doe Donuts in the Hollywood District, 4110 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97212.
We love watching Netflix show “Someone Feed Phil”, about a fun charismatic guy who goes around the world meeting people and eating food. On season 5, Phil stopped by Portland Oregon our home town. We were excited to see what food spots he would check out and were pleasantly surprised to find out he went to two Vegan spots. So, this trip back to see our family we decided to adventure to Doe Donuts ourselves. Let the vegan food adventure begin, just call us the wandering vegans.
Overwhelmed by the yumminess staring at us through the glass case we had to make our choices of donuts quick as the line behind us was growing quickly. So many choices so little time, how does one pick between seasonal flavors like Zucchini Chip, Peaches and Cream Stuffed, Blueberry Pie, Marionberry Nib or some of their year-round like Tiramisu Filled or their most popular, Portland fog. We couldn’t so we opted for a half dozen. This could possibly put us in a sugar comma but the plan is to share.
Sunday breakfast and coffee, here we come.
