Even though I am not the biggest breakfast and would much more prefer lunch and dinner, Jon still loves breakfast foods. With many more plant-based options for breakfast, we are getting to enjoy some of the “egg” favorite options we loved in breakfast. Like scrambles, omelets and breakfast burritos. After eating the same basic breakfast of oatmeal for a week at the hotel, it was time to venture out to a new spot in Las Vegas, graze Plant-Powered Kitchen.
graze is a super cute little hipster spot with a retro feel. Specializing in both sweet and savory items like Salted Pecan French Toast and Country Fried Cauliflower and Gravy. Whenever we go somewhere new, we like to ask what the most popular item is or what does the wait staff prefer. After recommendations of pancakes and crab cakes we decided on the breakfast burrito. Filled with “egg”, salsa fresco, avocado and cashew queso with home fries on the side. We also enjoyed our first Golden Milk and grabbed a few things to go for later, the Cinnamon Coffee Streusel Muffin, a Maple Scone and two chai snicker doodle cookies. I was all scrumptious and we would definitely try graze again on a future stop to Las Vegas.
Sidenote, when Jon returned home to Denver, he bought some Golden Milk mix. Now we can make our own Golden Milk at home with our homemade almond or oak milk and enjoy the newfound coffee substitute.
