Honolulu’s vibrant streets offer more than just breathtaking views; they’re a gateway to some of the most exciting culinary adventures. During our recent trip, I decided to explore the local plant-based scene and took a stroll from our hotel to Earth Aloha Eats, a charming all-vegan food truck known for its bold flavors and innovative takes on traditional favorites.
The walk itself was a feast for the senses. From the gentle ocean breeze through the buildings, swaying the palm trees. It is located in with at least 10 other food trucks. That way if you are the lone plant-based person, there are many options for others that are not.
I asked the employee what were some of the top favorites. After naming a few that all sounded very good, I ordered the 3 Golden Fish Tacos. The tacos were a delightful fusion of crispy, golden-battered “fish,” fresh greens, tangy slaw, and a drizzle of creamy sauce that brought everything together. The came with fresh lemons to squeeze juice on them. Each bite had the perfect balance of crunch, zest, and umami, proving that plant-based dining can be both indulgent and satisfying.
